“The word pilgrimage comes from the Latin peregrinus, meaning "stranger," denoting a person who travels to a foreign place. In a sense all people are pilgrims wandering here on earth, trying to find their way home: back to God.” —Dictionary of Christian Spiritual Formation

Each Pilgrimage is a journey, a way for each participant to experience a different place, people and most importantly, a new way to exercise their Christian faith through a radical love for God and neighbor. We want to challenge people to learn from this new perspective, and, on their return, apply it to the world in which they live.

Participants on these journeys will be required to participate in pre and post-trip experiences and practices. This will include—but is not limited to—books, online groups, retreats and spiritual direction.

“Two paths converge in the making of a pilgrimage: the actual and the spiritual, a specific destination and a perpetual journey. Both require one to leave home, face discomfort, and sleep away from a familiar bed.” —Dictionary of Christian Spiritual Formation

These trips are about a continual journey not a one-time experience. Once registered, we will contact you with further information on trip requirements.
